As if Clutch had a lovechild with System of a Down, Levee delivers head-nodding grooves, stage presence and musical curveballs enough to leave you wondering where the last 45 minutes went. Their lyrical universe explores the madness of human behaviour, the futility of existence AND the awesomeness of Theodore Rimspoke?s car ?IL Tempo Gigante?.

Levee is a two-piece hard-rock assault by the Dane Morten Fausboll (guitar/vocals) and the Norwegian Fredrick Lindal (Drums).
Based in London, these two Scandinavians have established themselves in the underground through innovative live shows but also as co-founders of the London Metal Coalition; a community in which the best 50+ London metal bands work closely together to elevate the post-covid metal scene.

Morten and Fredrick made it to the final of Bloodstock Festival?s Metal 2 The Masses 2022 competition, arguably putting the band amongst the six best unsigned hard rock/metal acts in London.

Levee released their debut EP ?The Edited Ark? in January 2023.

Description

Beer, Booze and Bands ... in no particular order.

Tucked away in a side-street off the main drag, it is nonetheless a true Camden Town bar with its exterior painted completely black and a large black heart hanging outside being the only indication of its name. This rather stark view is offset by white lace curtains on large French doors opened wide in dry and warm weather. Essentially one bar with booths along one side, tables on the other, plenty of bar stools, and a pool table. There's also an impressive poster display. There are 10 keg taps, two for Camden Town Brewery Ink & Hells, 8 alternating plus a range of bottled beers. Food is described as "Italian-American barbecue".
