Maddy is a young up-and-coming tenor saxophonist from Northampton. She returns to The Crypt after her sold out concert two-years ago. Her music is heavily influenced by some of the jazz greats including John Coltrane, Stan Getz and Art Blakey, and also from the thriving UK scene - all of which has influenced her own sound. Her music has a strong focus on storytelling, and on giving the band and herself space to explore new ideas and levels of communication.
The band features some of London?s finest young musicians: Menelik Claffey on bass, Finn Carter on piano, and Jordan Hadfield on drums, and they will be playing a set of originals.
