The Often Herd, from Newcastle, are one of the country's up and coming bands. They are due to play many of the UK's top Festivals this year.
The four piece resemble an American string band, complete with driving energy, tight vocal harmonies and dazzling interplay. Their vibrant transatlantic sound is deeply coloured by their surroundings, the striking natural and industrial landscape of Northern England. Their music is boldly contemporary and soothingly familiar taking time honoured traditions to new places with a fresh perspective.
