Laugh Cry Comedy Club brings you an amazing experience of live comedy with the extremely funny Ali Woods along with London's best up and coming comedians.

Ali Woods is a half-English, half-Scottish comedian, podcaster and content creator.  After a second sell-out Edinburgh Fringe run in 2023, Ali is a refreshing mix of the ?every man? and the ?modern man?, whose sensitivity and genuine interest in men?s mental health gives him a great perspective on the modern ?lad? culture which often features in his comedy. Ali is that wonderful blend of comedy with a heart, speaking on topics such as football, the environment, and many social causes close to his heart.
Ali won Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2020 and has appeared on BBC Radio 4, TalkRadio, TalkSport. 
His online comedy sketches have gained millions of views and likes, and featured on LadBible and Buzzfeed UK. In 2022, he supported Russell Kane and Axel Blake on tour and in 2024 supported Adam Kay.
Ali sold out Leicester Square theatre earlier this year and has put his first ever comedy special on Youtube, already surpassing 21k views!
In 2024, Ali starred on Comedy Central Live and Stand Up Sketch Show.

Alex Bertulis-Fernandes was a Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Finalist, Channel 4 Sean Lock Comedy Awards Finalist, and Beat The Frog World Series Finalist. Alex was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Awards and co-starred in White Chicks 2 at Soho Theatre. Her jokes have featured in The Telegraph and The Guardian.

Shruti Sharma performed at the prestigious Soho theatre, Soho Rising Festival 2023. She's a sassy comedian who pushes comedic boundaries between feminism and how much the men in her audience know about the women in their lives. She uses her international experience of having lived in India, France and the UK to make fun of idiosyncratic similarities.

Rhys Thorne is a comedian from wales with a walk as limp as his wrist. He was a semi finalist in SYTYF 2022 and was shortlisted for BBC New comedian 2023. He?s recently made a name for himself in gong shows, winning beat the blackout and the notorious King Gong at the iconic Comedy Store.

Sarah Bowles is the winner of the Funny Women Awards 2023. Sarah has a brilliant comedic timing.

Elle Pea is our new comedian for the night, her comedy style is one of storytelling. She talks about being a woman in her forties with no children.
