Laugh Cry Comedy Club brings you an amazing experience of live comedy with the absolutely hilarious TV along with London's best up and coming comedians.
Russell Hicks is one of the most sought-after comics across the UK and Europe. Combining American roots and razor sharp wit, he works regularly as a stand-up, writer, voice over artist and actor. He has starred in several episodes of ITV's 'Stand Up Sketch Show' and won the Channel 4 competition series 'Captive Audience' with his fully improvised comedy. He starred in the Prime Video series ?Lovestruck High,? as the loveable Texan Coach Hughes.
Russell headlines every major club across the UK and Europe including The Stand, Glee Club and Up the Creek, Top Secret Comedy Club. This is alongside his Stateside work with legendary Hollywood clubs The Comedy Store, The Improv and The Laugh Factory.
Russell is an ongoing writer for the Sky Comedy channel. His writing has earned him three Leicester Comedy Festival nods in the BEST SHOW and BEST IMPROVISED SHOW categories. He regularly opens for his friends Axel Blake (Winner of Britain?s Got Talent), Simon Brodkin, Al Murray, and more. He regularly entertains studio audiences at ?Have I Got News For You,? ?The Last Leg,? and ?As Yet Untitled.?
Russell?s 2024 Tour ?Happy to Be Here? will span the entire UK on a 7 month run, which includes London?s famed West End Leicester Square Theatre. He still can?t believe he gets to make people laugh for a living, travel the world, and most importantly not wake up early on Monday mornings.
He will be supported by some of London's best up and coming comedians including James O'Donoghue, Shruti Sharma, Caroline Madds, Hannah Lloyd Davies, Barbara Fernandez, Rebecca Sangster-Kelly and Ili Hamdia.
