Sarah is a teacher with over 35 years? experience of teaching science and exercise, a Pilates teacher and outdoor enthusiast, an MA Outdoor Education student at the University of Worcester, with research interests in outdoor health and wellbeing, adventure and wilderness experience.
A keen marathon runner, long-distance walker, outdoor enthusiast and author of Mind-Body Pilates.
This talk is based on Sarah?s research at the Outdoor Education Research Conference in Japan she undertook in March and will discuss some of her findings on the benefits of Pilgrimage walking, and the benefits of the outdoors.
