Inspired by artists such as Nina Simone, Bert Jansch, Son House, Sister Rosetta Tharpe and many others, and well known for his musical versatility and extensive touring, Steven Paris has been part of the folk scene for more than a decade. He has performed in festivals and clubs all over Europe and the United States. In the last couple of years Steven has had the pleasure of working with Jamboree favourite Erika Lewis, a well-known blues and folk singer from the band Tuba Skinny (New Orleans). Together they toured the US and the UK and recently recorded an album produced by Mick Jones from The Clash, slated for release in spring.
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
