A magically intimate micro concert featuring Romeo Stodart & Ren Harvieu and hosted by DG Solaris.

Night River are very excited to welcome these two songwriters who have been on our wish list since day one, appearing on the same bill.

Romeo Stodart, best known as the lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter of the indie rock band The Magic Numbers. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2005, was a critical and commercial success, topping the UK album charts and earning them a Mercury Prize nomination. Stodart's songwriting on the album was praised for its emotional depth, catchy melodies and intricate harmonies, with highlights including "Love Me Like You", "Forever Lost" and "I See You, You See Me". The Magic Numbers remain a beloved and respected band in the indie rock scene, with Stodart's songwriting and vocals playing a key role in their enduring appeal.

Ren Harvieu is a darkly enigmatic singer with a supple, yearning voice and bent toward mixing '60s pop, soul, and modern alt-rock. In her teens, Harvieu fell under the influence of an array of artists including Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez, as well as local heroes The Smiths and even such contemporary artists as Alicia Keys. Her most recent album, Revel in the Drama, released on Bella Union and co produced by Romeo, is an absolute gem.
