Description

Riverside Brass Ensemble recital with a Yorkshire Tapas Lunch included!

Riverside Brass was formed in 2015. The ensemble usually consists of ten brass players plus percussion and was the concept of founder member Dixon Laing (flugal and trumpet 4). Alongside Dixon there are three further founder members still playing with the ensemble, Steve Healy (trumpet 1), Dan Hatton (trumpet 3) and Liz Hatton (euphonium).
Members of Riverside Brass possess a wealth of experience playing in leading orchestras and brass bands including, the Halle, Opera North and Northern Ballet Orchestras, Black Dyke, Brighouse, Brodsworth Colliery, City of Hull (EYMS) and Ransomes brass bands. Some members of the ensemble are music teachers (classroom and instrumental teachers for both the East Riding and City of Hull Education Authorities) and have experience as music examiners.
Riverside Brass hopes that you enjoy their performance today and would welcome enquiries to play for any type of function such as concerts, weddings, parties, Christmas functions, etc. Please contact Dixon Laing on 01482 508532.
