Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Crawdaddy Club Richmond as we honour the memory of Mike Rivers, the visionary who revived this historic venue over a decade ago. Mike?s passion for music and dedication to creating a vibrant community breathed new life into the club, and we are committed to continuing his legacy.
The evening will feature three incredible acts, each reflecting the diverse musical spirit that Mike championed. Kicking off the night are The Mustangs, a British Blues Award-nominated band featuring the charismatic Adam Norsworthy. Known for their electrifying performances and amazing songwriting, they've been regulars at the club for years and one of Mike's favourite bands.
Next up, we have BlueZ'd, an exceptional youth band supported by the PowerJam project. Having graced the main stage of the Ealing Blues Festival and performed at legendary venues in New York City, BlueZ'd showcases the future of blues with their raw talent and youthful energy, embodying the spirit of innovation and passion that Mike so loved.
The evening will culminate with a special performance by Ian McHugh and the Crawdaddy Club All Stars, a band composed of beloved musicians and familiar faces from the club. Their set will be a heartfelt tribute, filled with the spirit and camaraderie that Mike Rivers fostered during his time at the helm.
Tickets are £10 (plus fees) in advance, with all proceeds going towards supporting future events at the club and continuing Mike?s enduring vision. Mike Rivers was more than just a club owner; he was a passionate advocate for live music and a cornerstone of the Richmond music scene. His legacy lives on through the vibrant community he helped build, and we invite you to celebrate his life and contributions with us.
Don't miss this extraordinary night of music and memories at the Crawdaddy Club Richmond. Join us in paying tribute to Mike Rivers and ensuring his vision continues to thrive. All proceeds from the evening go towards keeping the club alive.
