Described as a "luxurious and cinematic", "sinister, eerie, addictive" and ?luminous" sound, Creature & Machine is the solo project of singer, poet, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Lilly Neubauer. Landing somewhere between Kate Bush, Billie Eilish and Imogen Heap, expect lush choral harmonies and stick-in-your-head hooks interwoven with moments of spoken-word storytelling and moving, orchestral climaxes. Gathering attention and radio play from the likes of Phonograph Me (Portugal), Chic Radio (France) and BlueSoup Radio (Nottingham), she is releasing 3 EPs of original material in 2024. Through her curation of the sell-out event series, Scratch Fest, which brings together emerging artists from different disciplines to share work-in-progress, she has fostered a community of up-and-coming interdisciplinary talent in the capital.
