A return to the beautiful St Vincent's Chapel for a delightful evening featuring three fantastic duos. Said duos are Claquer (Emotional and powerful improv Spoken word + Guitar), Phame (Noise-wave punk/improv Bass + Guitar), Zed Paysanne (Minimal and Dramatic Guitar + Sax songs).
Claquer: Glasgow/Edinburgh duo of Lisa Fanen + Jer Reid combining powerful and emotional spoken word with improvised guitar, loops and noises of a wide sonic palette.
"Brilliant: crystal clear language, both in voice and music, politically involved and humanly resonant. Touched."

Phame: Noise-wave-punk/improv duo featuring Si Paton from Birmingham and Jessica Schwartz from Los Angeles. Sounds of jolty basslines, wailing guitar riffs and random objects weave around and decay into each other.
"Cracks in the system/ challenging the grounds of musical discipline and imperial violence through sonic and choreographic experimentalism."

Zed Paysanne: Instrumental minimal guitar pieces from Matt of Zed Penguin accompanied by jazz horn from the plastic cowboy builder of PX4M. Dramatic twists and turns with some vaguely country leanings and just the right amount of skronky sounds.
