Vocalist Gabrielle Stravelli (USA) is one of the world's leading interpreters of the American Songbook, celebrated for her driving swing and sophisticated, lyrical readings of love songs. Residing in New York City, Stravelli performs not just well-known classics but lesser-known gems from the vaults of the canon. She sings regularly at major jazz venues and festivals globally and has frequently taken up residencies at legendary jazz-clubs like Birdland with the USA's top-tier musicians and improvisers. Here in London with her Quartet featuring pianist Fraser Urquhart (UK), bassist Pat O'Leary (USA) and drummer Steve Brown (UK), the band has a musical connection which allows for great spontaneity in their performances and reflects their true joy in music-making.
