Description
The Feathers Inn, Lichfield offers a warm and family-friendly atmosphere with glorious homemade pub grub and a fantastic line-up of music and events.
The pub, which is conveniently located on Beacon Street in the beautiful Cathedral City of Lichfield, carried off the prestigious title of The National Community And Entertainment Pub Of The Year for two consecutive years.
Food and music are only two things that really make The Feathers Inn the place to be, from the glorious homemade food, locally-sourced ingredients and chef’s own recipes to the amazing Steak ’n’ Ale pie, Irish stew and Feathers Feast Burger to name but a few – this is why the pub is number one for food on TripAdvisor.
To wash down the wonderful food, The Feathers also features a range cask-marque approved specialty real ales, including their very own Spitting Feathers – this makes up a vast selection of drinks to suit everyone’s taste.
Food and drink only make up a small portion of the Feathers’ character. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday you will find a selection of music to suit all tastes, ranging from ‘then till now’, along with open mike jam night on a Tuesday where you can come and experience what it feels like to play a ‘real’ music venue!
And in the summer months, you can benefit from the family garden with outside bar – Stephen’s Shack, named in honour of Stephen Sutton – an amazing young man who raised millions for Teenage Cancer Trust shortly before succumbing to the disease himself.
The pub’s success is down to the meticulous attention to detail, which is not just apparent in the preparation of food, but also in the amazing quality of the sound and lighting during live performances – it is this which makes your visit to the Feathers one you won’t forget and will want to repeat again and again.
If Mike and Tracey’s enthusiasm could be bottled everyone would order their own glass!
