Description

CLSW present a special programme marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of Gustav Holst. Featuring Holst's Second Suite in F and Scherzo, the programme will also include Kew Bridge, a tribute to Holst and his compositions inspired by locations along the river Thames (Wheeler), and Suite Dreams, a dream-like fantasia based on Holst?s First Suite in Eb (Bryant).
CLSW will also be proudly presenting the premiere of a new work by Franklin Onyeso,, 'The People Yearn'.
Completing the programme is Ethel Smyth's The Wreckers and L'Homme armé (Marshall).
