Sukh Ojla is a comedian, actor and writer. Her first book, ?Sunny?, was released in 2022.

Sukh Ojla is a talented comedian and actress with numerous TV appearances. She has performed on The Big Asian Stand-Up Show (BBC Two), Jonathan Ross? Comedy Club (ITV), Comedy Central Live, Comedy Guide to Life (Dave), Sky?s Dating No Filter, The Chris McCausland Show (ITVX), and Late Night Lycett (4OD).

In 2019, Sukh debuted her solo show For Sukh?s Sake at the Edinburgh Fringe, receiving rave reviews, including a 5-star rating from Funny Women. She recently wrapped up her nationwide tour, Life Sukhs, which was met with critical acclaim.

Sukh?s acting credits include roles in Feel Good (Channel 4), Bridgerton (Netflix), The End of the F**king World (Channel 4), GameFace (Channel 4), Hospital People (BBC1), Black Mirror (Channel 4), EastEnders (BBC1), and the new series Piglets (ITVX). She also made appearances on Celebration Kitchen (BBC).

Opened in 1900, The Y is the oldest and only surviving Victorian theatre in Leicester.

A bustling live performance venue based in Leicester city centre, our eclectic programme includes music, comedy, theatre, dance and spoken word.

The 300 seat theatre also comfortably hosts candle-lit cabaret style events and standing gigs.

The theatre and meeting room has ground floor or lift access.
