Torpedoes bring their own brand of original post-punk, goth tinged material to The Joiners. Playing a range of tracks from their back catalogue through to new stuff from their latest double album "Heaven's Light Our Guide". FreeStone join for the evening playing their own brand of hard hitting rock - Think MC5, Hendrix, Led Zep, QOTSA et al and you're getting the idea.
Violent Heartbeat are the next generation and open the evening - engaging and provoking, poetic alt-indie rock in a style evoking Patti Smith, early Radiohead and Elastica.

We are an independently run grassroots music venue in Southampton, we have been providing the city with a touring and local community music hub since 1968, we actually started as a pub in the 1850’s for the beer drinkers among us.
We have around 300 events a year, 200 capacity with a friendly atmosphere and family ran vibe, we allow pretty much all ages into gigs accompanied (14+) everyone has to go to their 1st gig somewhere...
Having hosted some of the now worlds biggest bands we are also here to grow and nurture the local music scene, come say hi and give us a high five / handshake, we do this for YOU!
