Description
Join us for a traditional R*E*P*E*A*T (anti) Christmas Party, one in which joy, mess and delight will mingle with some seriously sad thoughts and an important message.
Starring
Acid Alchemist
Furious, feather boaed and frantic cross dressing face painted rock upstarts from a sleepy village in Cambridge.

The Monoliths
Teenage psychedelic post-punk metal mayhem with an ear for unexpectedly massive sounds and unlikely time signatures. Their healthy disrespect for their elders and lessers hasn't stopped them packing out venues across London and the South East.

DNR
Noisy two-piece (three if you count the robot drummer) industrial death-rock band who sometimes play Abba.

Proxxide
Pure'n'perfect indie pop from the suburbs of Cambridge

This gigs is held in honour of Jordan Evans, a highly talented, uniquely kind and much missed R*E*P*E*ATster. Funds raised at the gig will go to the organisation supported by Jordan's family, Andy's Man Club, a group offering free mental health support and which encourages men to talk.

There will also be a Love Music Hate Racism stall at the show.
Description
For decades the Portland has been an essential part of the Cambridge live music scene welcoming local, national and international acts of all genres and backgrounds to play in our dedicated 200 capacity venue space.
Whether you are in a band and are looking for a venue to hold your own gig or are looking for a modern space to hold a meeting or gathering we can cater for groups of all sizes and requirements.
We have a full in house PA system and lighting with experienced sound technicians available to make sure your event sounds and looks great. The venue also has it’s own full-service bar, air conditioning and ‘green room’ space.
For smaller events we have 2 separate bars and a courtyard garden that can be hired independently.
Due to the age of the building the Portland is not easily accessible by wheel chair but we will endeavour to provide any help we can. Generally entry to the venue and public bar is no problem.
