Come to the second Milonga of 2025 at Ashburton Arts Centre

In June 2024, Ruth Rozelaar brought bandoneonist extraordinaire Orlando Dibelo to the UK from Argentina, and we were privileged to hear them playing together here in the Arts Centre.  This time, Ruth is bringing another musician to play a la parrilla style, where they react to each other and the dancers, and everything is not 100% planned in advance. This performance is dedicated to creating as much space as possible for dancing tango with live music and traditional tango DJ.

Ashburton Arts Centre is a community-owned and run place where the arts of all kinds happen.

It opened in 2018 in the town's old Methodist Church. Come see world-class live music, theatre, etc plus local performers, classes and community events.
