Jason Buck tells a selection of dark fairytales straight out of the gloomy forests, remote mountain lakes and sunlit dapples between the trees. Water monsters, cannibal witches, a toad's tale and even some happy ever afters come together for an evening of classic storytelling for adults and teens (12+).
"Jason Buck is a man made of myth, magic and mead. His stories are filled with adventure, his beard is full of unexpected twists and his tankard filled with a poet's brew. Sit around the fire and listen to his tales - you won't be disappointed."
Doors open and Food Served from 6.30pm. Storytelling begins at 7.30pm.

By day our Cafe serves delicious home-cooked food, Fairly Traded coffee & tea and homemade cakes & pastries. All with a nod to local and ethical sourcing. We cater for Vegetarians, Vegans and dietary issues, just ask if you need anything not catered for on our menus. We also have a Delicatessen serving our own home-cooked food daily.
On Sunday to Thursday evenings we host the best acoustic music in the City, specialising in Folk, Roots and Americana.
On Friday and Saturday evenings the Cafe is available for private functions, weddings and parties, please call or email for more details.
