Duo Samantha Shields and Daniel Ryan have impressed audiences with their mix of roots and electric folk retro in a set featuring strong original material and well-considered covers. Visions of Albion was formed by Sam in 2018 after she and Dan had met at music college, and discovered a shared vision of 'how music should make you feel'.
Their harmonies are a delight to listen to, and with Sam?s seemingly effortless and superb vocals (inviting comparison to Linda Rondstadt and Heart?s Ann Wilson), and Dan?s blend of acoustic and electric fingerstyle guitar underpinning their sound, they have developed a loyal following in their hometown of Liverpool and beyond.
