Description

Reinis Jaunais and The Flamenco Thief share a love of traveling the world with their music and first met during their long concert tours. This is the unifying element of the music they create for their audiences. Global instrumental music intertwined with the writing of Latvian poets, flamenco guitar and Balkan, Latin American and Hip Hop music .

The musicians achieve an almost orchestral sound on stage, using their instruments as live percussion and looping sounds to integrate electronic elements with live playing. The Rising Sun Arts Centre is enormously pleased to present them at their first gig in Reading.
