Description

Hailsham Choral's next concert is a performance of Mendelssohn's well-loved oratorio Elijah, sung in its English translation. This choral masterpiece tells the story of the prophet Elijah: Israel is suffering from drought and its people have turned to the false god Baal for help. Can Elijah persuade the people to repent?
Join us for an evening of drama, a duel between two Gods, and some great music.
The concert will be conducted by the choir's director, Jozik Kotz and will be joined by soloists Noa Lachman (soprano), Louise Winter (alto), James Beddoe (Tenor) and Matthew Nuttall (Baritone).
