Strong poetic and romantic themes colour their jazzy and folky sound and a sharp intelligence and dry sense of humour will have you smiling and daydreaming throughout.

The Players dig out dusty old jams and cuts of bluesy, rootsy folk-rock and turn them round in their hands, asking ?what?s this? and ?is this one to take home and keep?.

Theone?s haunting and beguiling vocals and vibes have a timeless power as she sings songs of her own creation alongside well-chosen and heart-felt covers.

Russ Franklin sings acapella and sometimes invites you to join in too, having gathered a whole songbook of folk and traditional tunes that he?s enjoyed since his school days.

Doors at 7pm so you?ve plenty of time to get a drink and settle in for the music to start at 8pm.
