Welcome to the bitch trial! We're bringing the chaotic queer punk explosion of Bitchfinder General to Oxford from Newcastle alongside London's hard hitting alt-rock duo Scrounge with Paper Hand opening up - new music for the first time from some of the much revered Oxford band Half Rabbits!

Bitchfinder General: Hear campy, tortured ballads about the life of a spider in a bath, driving anthems about surviving a slasher movie and more daft, delightful and devastating tunes besides! Having become a recent fixture of Newcastle's DIY scene they now embark on their first UK tour, after the release of their debut EP 'No Thoughts, Just Vibes!' in June 2024 was dubbed "a playful introduction whose five tracks epitomise their no-holds-barred outlook, binding a pliable approach to genre with a wild and punchy punk spirit" by NARC Magazine. BFG features hypnotic glitched-out synth and vocals from Jayne Dent (Me Lost Me), DIY Ceilidh's Frankie Insley delivering shouty gothy madness and guitar alongside driving bass from DGA Collective's Sarah Li and the merciless drum beats of James O'Coaimh (Bullion Train).
