Description
Initially a solo-project for Hartlepool based multi-instrumentalist Andrew Smith, Mt. Misery ?officially? became a band in early 2019 and quickly became firm favourites of the North East indie-pop fraternity.
Earning a glowing reputation for their heartwarming sets and endearingly awkward stage presences, the band have supported the likes of Gruff Rhys, Martha, The Futureheads, Porridge Radio, Pip Blom, Lightheaded, Jeanines and many more.
They released their critically-acclaimed debut album 'Once Home, No Longer' via Prefect Records (Ex Vöid, The Natvral, The Tubs) in 2021, alongside a long-since sold-out limited edition Rough Trade Exclusive vinyl.
A digital EP followed in August 2022 and after numerous false starts, the band's second album will be released via Prefect on 1st November 2024
Tulpa are a band from Leeds they play noisy alt pop with guitars violins and keys.
