Art Room
Art Room are a sibling-led three-piece from London, with Amber on vocals and guitar, her brother Will on bass, and their brother from another mother Luke on drums. Their original music is influenced by an eclectic range of artists which all adds to their unique and vibrant sound. From the rawness of punk and the intricate rhythms of progressive rock to the dynamic groove of funk, Art Room are making their mark on the alternative music scene.
Their compelling live performance matched by rich poetic lyrics and bold instrumentation has recently led them to a residency at The Spice of Life, Soho. Now a permanent feature of the live music scene in London, they have previously played at Glastonbury (2022) and the O2 Academy, Islington, and been featured on BBC Radio, Radio Luxembourg an Delaware University Radio.
Their first album ?On the Lilac River? was produced by Morgan Nicholls (formally with The Streets and Gorillaz) and they are now back in the studio with Nick Tauber (best known for producing Thin Lizzy and Marillion) with new music set to be released in 2025.

Peter Azzopardi
?Peter Azzopardi is one of our favourite artists to play at The Marquis! Top musician and top bloke. He?s own songs are brilliant and you?ll be listening to every word! We can?t wait to have him back!? - Tommy McGuiness

Temporal Comet
Temporal Comet returns to 2025, weaving sonic warnings from a fractured world. Think Bowie and Radiohead in a Blade Runner dystopia.
On stage, Temporal Comet is a three-piece Temporal Comet comprising vocals w harmonies, guitar, electric upright bass and drums.
This floaty, slightly electronic music is often compared to David Bowie, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, and the sound of black holes forming. We like to call it'spacepop'.
We have a set of 30-50 minutes, mainly playing our original songs, with a cover or two thrown in - and all set to a live video projection which explores the best of sci fi and sci fact.

First licensed in 1686 as the George, the current building dates from 1898 and the current name from 1986. (One of the old names, Cantons, can be seen being held by one of the gargoyles on the top of the building).
Famous in the 1960s and 70s for folk music and then punk, latterly it has become a jazz venue and home to SpiceJazz club. Up to 5 real ales from the McMullen range on offer and free admission to the main bar but you may have to pay for some music gigs in the basement.
