We fell in instant love with this queer troubadour when we first saw them play at AMAUK Awards in 2024 and we've witnessed two fab Brighton dates since then - couldn't resist enticing Paisley back into town the moment a fresh tour was mooted.
Paisley Fields is a torchbearer of the alt-country tradition, with flamboyant propensities that are irresistible.
From youthful Midwestern church piano playing days to piano bars of NYC and full on flitting and performing 'twixt Brooklyn, NY / Nashville TN, rich storytelling approaches triumph and heartbreak with wit and humour, valiantly building bigger tables of inclusivity within the Western genre - with heart and tenacity, Fields represents the best of what Country music can be -a genuine star that twinkles knowingly in the firmament of heavenly country (or is that countrified heaven?).
