About the album:
"Little Lion" is the highly anticipated 2nd album from Llennett, marking a return to the shelves after 12 years. This genre-bending collection of songs is a testament to resilience and inner strength, exploring themes of overcoming trauma and adversity. The album's title, "Little Lion," is a direct translation of Lynnette's name, symbolising the powerful core that emerges when facing life's challenges.
Musically, "Little Lion" is a diverse and dynamic experience, weaving together grungy textures, ethereal instrumentals, an atmospheric trip-hop-esque feel with both dark, broody moods and moments of uplifting energy. Lynnette's vocals have reached new heights, showcasing a powerful and experimental range, complemented by crunchy keyboard chords, soaring flutes, roaring guitars, and the incredible basslines of Andy Durham.
Standout tracks like "Stranded" and "Little Lion" offer a glimpse into the album's emotional depth and musical innovation, making "Little Lion" a compelling and deeply personal journey for listeners seeking strength and inspiration.
