Feeling Minnesota+Grace Solero+Alto Alto+Upside Of Maybe
Feeling Minnesota- remember the glory days of the early nineties rock fans?? when plaid shirts, bed head hair and ripped jeans n sneakers showed Hair Metal the door and hard rock embraced punk and melodic Beatles sensibilities to give us the fabled Grunge?!
Still a potent trope in alterno music today, grunge burned bright with the likes of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains and many more, all paid brilliant homage this evening by this fine bunch of Kurts (sorry!). Come As You Are but do come, gonna be ace.
Grace Solero ? all the above resonate in the exciting and powerfully progressive work of Grace Solero and her titular band of brothers. Amazing voice she has too, vying against some superb Page like guitar episodes and cracking musicianship from the rhythm section too.
Alto Alto ? from Oxford, UK, with a driving, energetic, and dynamic sound. Led by Jonny Payne, the band marks an exciting new chapter in his musical journey. With a passion for creating something new, Alto Alto pushes his sound in bold, unexpected directions, leaving behind familiar ground to explore new musical horizons.
Upside Of Maybe ? award winning, roots based folk/rock group from Stratford, Ontario. They have toured throughout Canada and are known for their tight vocal harmony, infectious story telling, crafty songwriting and engaging live shows. We warmly welcome them to Camden Town tonight. Arrive nice and early (7.30pm) to catch their folk and pop tinged alt rock tour de force.
DJs We Got Killers ? keep the party hearty til 2am, hitting up a few alt ?90s bangers absent from the headliner?s impressive set, before spinning off into whatever musical delights the fabled Dublin dancefloor desires.

The Dublin Castle is a legendary pub and music venue located 2 minutes away from Camden Town tube station. It has been run by the same family for over 28 years and features 4 live bands every night as well as a great selection of beers, ciders and wines.
There are DJs after the bands on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and a fabulous jukebox in the front bar if you’re after a more relaxed atmosphere.
But what is it that makes the Dublin Castle the long-standing centre of the indie rock universe? Is it because it’s Madness’ birthplace? Because its stage has been graced by everyone from Blur, through Coldplay, Supergrass, The Killers, The Arctic Monkeys, Billy Bragg, etc? Is it because it was no surprise to see Amy Winehouse behind the bar serving costumers? Or Suggs? (who, mind you, tended to ignore costumers and serve himself) Or is it because far from being just another Camden venue it has established itself as an indie rock institution? The answer is that it’s not only because of its musical heritage that people come to the Dublin Castle, it’s because whilst you enjoy a pint, play some tunes on the jukebox, check out the live bands, get your dancing shoes on for our DJs, chat to our friendly staff or even stage-invade a little, you’re inadvertently being part of this movement the Dublin Castle leads, this cultural legacy. Expect no castle battlements. Just pure rock and roll royalty.
