Irish-born and Liverpool-based, A Burial At Sea is a boundary-pushing post-rock collective known for their inventive fusion of haunting melodies and eclectic instrumentation. Since their 2018 debut EP, "...And The Sum Of Its Parts", the band has defied genre conventions, blending introspective soundscapes with bombastic creativity. Their captivating live performances and tours alongside acts like Tera Melos and Listener have earned them a loyal following across Europe.
Their second full-length album, "Closer To Home" (out last February 2024, via Pelagic Records), reflects a deep exploration of their Gaelic roots, weaving bittersweet childhood folk melodies into a richly layered instrumental tapestry. A Burial At Sea continues to redefine post-rock, delivering a sound that is as emotionally resonant as it is sonically adventurous.
