Marrakesh Express

The Marrakesh Express are a unique experience, recreating an iconic period in music with stunning vocal harmonies, psychedelic guitar and authentic acoustic grooves. They highlight the roots of one of the great supergroups, touching on the best of The Byrds, The Hollies and Buffalo Springfield with hits such as Turn Turn Turn, For What It's Worth and Carrianne as well as the mighty Suite Judy Blue Eyes, Our House and Helplessly Hoping.
From Crosby's folk and jazz sensibilities, through Stills blues driven grooves to Nash's nack for a catchy pop tune this is a show to truly blow your mind. Their various collaborations with Neil Young are also marked with the classic Ohio.
The band take you back to a time of protest, revolution, dropping out and making great music. Sing along and sing loud as we find the cost of freedom together. It's one hell of a trip! If you were there and you don't remember it come along and be reminded!

By day our Cafe serves delicious home-cooked food, Fairly Traded coffee & tea and homemade cakes & pastries. All with a nod to local and ethical sourcing. We cater for Vegetarians, Vegans and dietary issues, just ask if you need anything not catered for on our menus. We also have a Delicatessen serving our own home-cooked food daily.
On Sunday to Thursday evenings we host the best acoustic music in the City, specialising in Folk, Roots and Americana.
On Friday and Saturday evenings the Cafe is available for private functions, weddings and parties, please call or email for more details.
