Description

The Boomerang Club London are very proud to present an explosive night of Neo Rockabilly for you!.
DO NOT MISS IT!! -
THE NEUTRONZ - EXCLUSIVE LONDON GIG!
The Neutronz were formed in 2009 with the idea to play the neo tunes that introduced them to Rockabilly back in the early eighties. But after releasing three cds of mostly originals (Killer on the Loose, Knucklehead, Motel Hell), the set now compromises of a good mix of covers and originals. They have played weekenders, such as Viva, Hemsby, the Shakedown, and venues all over Europe and the UK.
The band split in 2023 but recently reformed with the new lineup of Steve Clark on vocals and lead guitar, John Maddison on drums and Jez Jordan on double bass.
They've recently released their new CD " Dead Elvis" featuring 11 self penned originals and 3 covers.

WIGSVILLE SPLIFFS-RARE LONDON GIG!
In the 1980's The Wigsville Spliffs were legendary at the iconic Klub Foot a cornerstone of the UK psychobilly and neo rockabilly scenes. Their distinctive sound earned them a place on numerous compilations like ?Rockin? It Up?, ?Stomping At The Klub Foot?, and ?Zorch Factor? and The James Deans of The Dole queue solidifying their status as genre pioneers.
.. Comprising Ian Aitken (guitar/vocals), Danny Mowl (drums), and Mike Lister (bass), the original trio captivated audiences with their fast-paced neo-rockabilly melodies and hard-hitting bass lines. ?Al Capone? and ?Highclass Power? became instant fan favorites, showcasing their raw talent and infectious energy.
In 2011, after a hiatus of 25 years, The Spliffs returned with their highly anticipated album ?Fat 41?, released on Drunkabilly Records (BE). With Paul Richardson now on drums.
From their humble beginnings to their appearances at the Klub Foot, The Wigsville Spliffs remain an essential part of the psychobilly and rockabilly scene, proving that their music transcends generations and continues to inspire fans worldwide.

Spinning The Wax until the early hours we have the fabulous Chris Setzer who will be playing awesome tunes between the bands and into the early hours!

>>> looking forward to seeing you all there!!
