Perfect for complete beginners, this relaxed three-hour workshop covers all the essentials to get you started. You?ll learn how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, and practise a few key seams before putting your new skills to use by making a simple finished item ? a handy pin cushion to take home. No prior experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to have a go.

This is a three hour workshop. no need to bring anything - everything will be provided.

This session is suitable for ages 11 plus.

2, Confidence to make the machine ready to use
3, Confidence to sew a few seams

How to access Room 2.3
This event is in Room 2.3 which is on the first floor of York House Centre, London Road, Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes.
This room is not accessible for wheelchair users, we do not have a lift (we are a Grade II listed building)
To get to Room 2.3, please use the side door to the right of the Main Hall, once in the building, please turn left and go through the corridor to the stairwell. Go up the stairs to the 1st (middle) floor and through the door facing you. Room 2.3 is ahead on the right.

How to find us and parking:
We have car parking in front of the building (with two disabled spaces), or across the road in the Hawkins Close Car Park.
To get to York House from Galley Hill and Fair Field, you can catch the Number 6 or X6 bus.
