Description

An internationally recognised musician and multidisciplinary artist, RACHEL CROFT exists in the space where cinematic songwriting, raw vocal power and visual authorship collide. Her work does not arrive quietly ? it unfolds, frame by frame, sound by sound ? drawing listeners into something immersive, deliberate and unmistakably her own. Her music and visuals have been featured across Netflix and BBC Two, with premieres on major international platforms including CMT (USA) and the BBC, placing her work on a global cultural stage.

Endorsed early by BBC Introducing, who described her as "truly exceptional", Croft has built a reputation not on spectacle, but on intensity ? performances that feel authored rather than presented. Her voice moves between fragility and force, often within the same breath, anchored by songwriting that favours atmosphere, tension and emotional weight over convention.

Her live history reads like a map of modern musical pilgrimage sites. In the US, she has performed at The Bitter End in New York and The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville ? rooms known for exposing truth rather than hiding flaws. In the UK, she has appeared at Bush Hall and Camden Assembly, alongside special performances in spaces rarely granted lightly: Abbey Road Studios, and The Blue Room at London's O2 Arena. Each setting amplifies the same constant ? a presence that holds attention without asking for it.

On the festival circuit, Croft has taken this uncompromising approach to audiences across Europe, with appearances at Secret Garden Party and Black Deer Festival in the UK, Toxoplasmose in Switzerland, and Festival ? Toute Heure in Paris. These performances sit alongside extensive European touring, where packed rooms and repeat audiences have cemented her reputation as an artist whose work resonates long after the set ends.

Her reach extends well beyond live performance. Croft's music has been selected for rotation across major UK and international retail chains including Tesco and Waterstones, embedding her sound into everyday public spaces. She works closely with Gibson Guitars, aligning her with one of the most enduring legacies in instrument craft, and was named Caffè Nero's Artist of the Month, recognising both her artistic depth and cultural relevance.

Yet music is only one axis of her practice. Rachel Croft is a fully multidisciplinary artist ? creating original pen-and-ink illustrations, lino cuts, mixed-media animation and self-directed video work. These visual elements are not adjuncts or branding tools; they are integral to the work itself. Each project is conceived as a complete, self-contained world ? sound, image and narrative authored by the same hand.

In an industry built on replication and acceleration, Croft moves differently. Her work is slow-burn, high-contrast, and unmistakably personal ? a body of work shaped by craft, control and a refusal to dilute vision for convenience.
