The lights will be switched on at the Triangle at 5:45pm by the Mayor, Cllr Tim Sutton, Santa and the Elf.

The lights will be switched on by the Mayor, Cllr Tim Sutton from the front of the Memorial Gardens, King Street at 5.45pm. There will be some street entertainment and a Santa's Grotto in the archway between Beaurepaire Patisserie and the Job Centre on King Street.

Some shops will be open for late night shopping. There will also be some local charity stalls outside Poundland.
