Reuben was a finalist in the BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year Competition, and was awarded the Dankworth Prize for Jazz Composition in 2022 and 2023.
His piano trio explores lyrical melodies and hooks, underpinned by high-tech grooves and metric modulations, balancing the cerebral nature of contemporary jazz with a focus on strong story-telling.

Founded in Manchester by Harry Mobbs and Joseph Taylor in 2023, the Consort has collaborated with the Gesualdo Six and with Manchester Baroque. Their debut album 'A New Light' was released in October 2025.
The concert will consist of a selection of a cappella music, ranging from Byrd and Tallis to Rachmaninov, Whitacre and Kate Rusby.
