Resound is a modern building with a 250 seat capacity auditorium, with easy access and free parking - perfect for performance acts. We have a professional digital FOH and monitor system (iem or wedge) and dedicated audio and video engineers, so you can concentrate on your performance.

Behind the auditorium is a generous cafe with a 'real' coffee machine and friendly staff.

Resound has hosted several touring acts from drama to music to comedy since 2012, including John Archer, Andy Hunter,ReMission Flow, Superhero, Graham Kendrick, Tony Vino, FolkOn, GuvnaB, Loulita Gill and LCGC.

We also have a regular 'Later' music evening, a 2 hour slot where newly formed acts can perform to their first audiences, or test their new material, safe in the knowledge that their sound and lighting will not hold them back.

We even offer some expenses so acts aren't out of pocket, paid for by a £2.50 entrance fee for our regular audiences. Later has hosted choirs, wind bands, solo artists from folk to jazz, rock n roll bands, covers bands and the now well established house band.

We've had some great evenings with acts that have surprised us, so reach out if you're interested in a 'no-risk' gig.
