Presuming Ed's Coffee House

Presuming Ed, situated on London Road, serves as a vital gathering point within Brighton, extending beyond the conventional coffee house. It operates as a fully licensed venue, consistently drawing in locals and visitors who seek a genuine point of connection and engagement, rather than merely a commercial exchange.

Inside, the atmosphere is one of considered informality; mismatched furniture crafted from repurposed items and walls adorned with vibrant murals create a distinctive backdrop. The air often carries the subtle aroma of freshly ground coffee and the murmur of conversation, inviting patrons to settle into a comfortable, unpretentious space.

Beyond the main interior, the venue features a sun-filled back garden, offering an additional space for patrons to unwind. Accessibility is a key consideration, with the main areas situated on a single floor, accommodating various needs. The offering extends from meticulously prepared coffees and a diverse selection of craft beers to homemade cakes and substantial snacks.

As an active event space, Presuming Ed regularly hosts a varied programme designed to stimulate and entertain. This includes evenings dedicated to live comedy, musical performances, film screenings, and interactive workshops, alongside popular quiz nights, ensuring a consistent calendar of community-focused activities.
