The Three Elms is a traditional family friendly pub in an idyllic location, just three miles from the centre of Chelmsford. We guarantee a warm welcome and cosy atmosphere enhanced by a log burner during the chilly months. Along with the feeling of being ‘away from it all’, we offer real ales, real ciders and good food.

Pete and I are proud to be in our 8th year at The Three Elms and have exciting plans for the future.. We are free of tie and continue to stock local ever changing real ales & ciders as well as serving good food

Our special offer Steak & Tapas evenings have proved to be very popular, look out for these and book early. The pub also has a piano, an original Bar Billiards table and a darts board, all of which are free to play to our customers!

We have live music regularly including local bands and a Jazz quartet once a month (look at our events page for music evenings!) Folk musicians also visit us and have a jam on the evening of the first Friday of every month.

We also have a charity raising monthly quiz on the first Tuesday of every month!

We have FOUR annual beer & cider festivals every year – An Easter festival in March/April, a spring festival in May, a summer festival in August & a Halloween cider festival in October! All of which are filled with live music! Look out for dates on the festival page.
