The Centre is a charity and we are extremely proud of the work that has been achieved since 1947 to support our local community. We invest 100% of our surplus back into the centre, either through the development of the building itself, or the services that we provide. We hope to continue to do this good work for many more years to come, and we are grateful for each and every one of you who are able to help us.

There are many ways you can support us, regardless if you are new in the area, or a long-term user of the Centre. Donations are always welcome, but you can help us tremenduously by making some small changes, and at no extra cost to you:

If you are organising a party or a new club, you can book a room with us. We are always happy to hear ideas about new community events, and to offer a space for your special occasions.

Cheylesmore Community Association began and was launched by the Lord Mayor of Coventry on Saturday 8th May 1948. CCA runs Cheylesmore Community Centre. The Association became a charity in 1965. The organisation was re-formed as a charity and company in 2010. In 2012 CCA signed a lease from Coventry City Council. Previously used as an administration and Hostel during World War 2, later Cheylesmore School, and a Church and Sunday school before local schools and Quinton Baptist Church. The two houses opposite were where the cleaning staff lived.

The centre is presently undergoing significant development . This includes energy saving measures and significant changes to the internal workings of the buildings with a new entrance with enhanced and improved layout.
