Description

A Band Called Malice (“Malice”) was formed in the early Summer of 2017 by Andy Coultas Andy, a lifelong Jam fan who has many many years experience of recreating the “Paul Weller” role, was keen to create a band that he felt had all the essential elements of a Jam Tribute including high octane energy, angst, aggression, passion, vocals, musicianship and the look of The Jam.

Malice’s rise in popularity in the tribute world has been nothing short of remarkable, in 2018 the band played over 70 gigs gaining a National Tribute Awards nomination, being officially endorsed by Lambretta Clothing of Carnaby Street, and having no less than a 1/4 of a million views on their video of the street performance at Carnaby Street in November 2017.
If you are thinking of booking the band or attending one of the band’s gig, you’re guaranteed to be taking right back to the late 70s, early 80s with an authentic performance of single releases like A town Called Malice, Going Underground, Eton Rifles, That's Entertainment album tracks and B sides from The Jam’s early Fire & Skill years, through to their very last release.
See what people say about the band by checking out the 5* reviews on the band’s Facebook page or see the video footage for yourself on their website https://www.abandcalledmalice.uk/ better still, come and check out one of their gigs & be sure to book yourself a place ‘In the Crowd!’
please beware the band are NO LONGER connected with their previous management company who have retained rights on previous facebook and domain name, so beware of getting the wrong band!!

Huntingdon Hall Profile Pic

Description

Huntingdon Hall is Worcestershire’s premier live music and comedy venue, staging an eclectic programme of live music, comedy and spoken word events.

Countess of Huntingdon’s Chapel was a thriving Methodist church in the early 18th Century. By 1970 the building had closed as a chapel, remaining closed until the late 1970s when it was purchased by the City Council with the view of redeveloping the site. With financial support from the City and County Councils, Huntingdon Hall re-opened in 1987 as a concert venue.

Over 30 years later, Huntingdon Hall has become a leading venue for comedy and live music, staging an eclectic mix of genres, including folk, jazz, blues, world, rock, pop and R&B, as well as classical music, spoken word events, and some really world-class comedy.

The Hall is also home to the Astaria String Quartet (Quartet in Residence) and the world renowned ESO (English Symphony Orchestra), the Hall’s Orchestra in Residence.

All in all, Huntingdon Hall is a unique and quirky venue, with bags of character and fantastic entertainment on offer!
