The Three (Graham Fielden, Ian Taylor and Ian Edmundson) are three skilled players who have teamed up to take an enjoyable rock show out on the road. There's well known rock songs and some cracking glam rock stuff. You'll know all of the songs, unless you have been living in a nunnery or have been in a coma since the 1960's.
Large community pub close to junction 11 of the M60 and Sale and Salford Rugby Stadium. Customers often comment on the beauty of the building itself, which was rebuilt in 1903.
The pub is the perfect location for watching live sport because of its separate football and pool room. The Grapes now shows Racing UK and At The Races.
Between 1903 and 1906 the Joseph Holt Brewery built three impressive pubs in the Eccles area. The Grapes is the most spacious and the most extravagant in its use of carved mahogany and decorative glass. The former Billiard Room at the rear still has its raised seating, tiled & wood surround fireplace but is now home to a pool table.
