Description

We are a relaxed, friendly, welcoming group and are always looking for more members to join our Jazz family!

If playing as part of a group appeals to you, why not join John Seeley’s Jazz and Saxophone Group? I run my own Jazz and Saxophone Workshop every Thursday evening throughout the year at St. Michael and All Angels Church in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.

The aim of this workshop is to provide a creative and relaxed atmosphere for musicians of all levels, to learn theory aspects of music, develop saxophone technique and gain practical knowledge of performing.

The workshop will explore saxophone and musicianship skills that will enhance the individual and group performer. This includes music theory, methods of practise, sight reading, improvisation, aural work and specific concepts to increase your knowledge on the saxophone.

The music used will range from Hard Bop, Modern to Contemporary Jazz, and will be arranged to a high level.
