Description

Fred Perry Subculture presents:

Following on 2018's influential All Our Tomorrows one day festival - we present another line up of nine emerging and incredibly innovative bands. All set to be influential on the new music scene across the coming year.

An eclectic and diverse line-up of creative musicians working across a varied spectrum of genres, from indie electro to rap / trap via jazz-infused experimentalism

Black Country, New Road - return to Headline the event this year. Groundbreaking multi-instrumentalists pushing boundaries of alt-jazz into indie electro and beyond. Building a stunning reputation with their underground shows.

The seven-piece are utterly spellbinding and showstopping in every respect. The Quietus

Pardans - spawned from infamous Mayhem collective (Copenhagen)
Jazz-punk outfit Pardans are fast becoming one of Denmark's most exciting new bands. - Rough Trade

Jerskin Fendrix - unconventional off-kilter pop
Biblical weird pop - Loud & Quiet

Great Dad - twisted pop sextet
Unmissable live. - Fred Perry Subculture

Platonica Erotica - exotica-influenced synth-pop
Monochromatic and playful, Platonica Erotica's pop reimaginings are a joy to behold. Enchanting, come along and be transported. - See You Mate Magazine

Osquello - laid-back vibes incoorporating elements of jazz, soul, indie and hip-hop
Osquello's music sounds like a summer spent lazing around, half-delirious from heat and pure bliss. - Wonderland

Taylor Skye - wonderfully weird, eclectic and melancholic bedroom pop.
Skye is not attempting to be smooth or trendy with 'Kode Fine', but to create something unique and ear-catchingly sweet, which he has undoubtedly done. - The Four Oh Five

Lealani - from California, her experimental take on synth-pop is literally and figuratively out of this world.
The sonic palette of her debut contains an expansive terrain, glued together through unique vocal cadences and lyricism that make every song glow with mysticism. - The Seventh Hex

Brother May - Songwriter, producer, and MC Brother May is more than just a multi-disciplinary artist: he's a creative auteur, sculpting spontaneous ideas into new and innovative forms.
Brother May has an uncanny ability to express himself through a plethora of conceptual sounds, deftly capturing and conveying his blossoming, warm personality in performances that execute an electric stage presence. - LN-CC

The night will be rounded off by a Taylor Skye DJ Set. One half of London duo Jockstrap, Taylor's sets are renowned for raking across the genres. And downright inclusive fun.

Description

The most celebrated live music venue in Europe and one of the most famous in the world. Our longevity is due to an open minded music policy which has seen many different musical styles performed at this venue over It's long history.

Live music began at 100 Oxford Street on 24th October 1942. It was first played at Mack's restaurant (as it was then known) when British jazz drummer Victor Feldman's father hired the venue on a regular Sunday night to showcase the talents of his jazz loving sons and their band. The band consisted of Victor and his two brothers Robert on clarinet and Monty on accordion. They were joined by legendary British saxophonist Jimmy Skidmore for the opening night.
