Exploring folk tales old and new, Georgia Lewis blends ballads of nature, love, loss and longing with great depth and passion. BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominee and winner of the Future of Young Folk Award.
Georgia's been making a name for herself through really well received concerts (Julie Fowlis). Her debut album 'The Bird Who Sings Freedom' was described as an impeccable British folk album (Songlines) and received a glowing five-star review from Rock'n'Reel magazine.
With her delicately expressive voice (fRoots), accordion and whistle she has been described as having a fine musicianship and authentic feel (Living Trad)
This will be Georgia's second visit to TwickFolk and we can confirm Georgia's energy in a live concert setting is hard to beat!
