A Friday night of hot Irish jigs, reel, stompers and lyrical folk with Crock of Bones at Jamboree. Support comes from lyrical folk band The Relatives.
Crock of Bones are a new north London Alt-folk, Celtic, Irish, Trad band whose backgrounds stretch back to 90s celtic punk, gypsy jazz, dark folk and rock. Using fiddle, accordion, banjo, guitar and double bass and vocals, their set contains originals/standards/reels and jigs, from full-pelt foot-stompers like Hot Asphalt to sing-along ballads like the original Ferry.
The Relatives, are hosts of Resonance 104.4 FMs The Relatively Good Radio Show, where they ´Turn everyday London life into Folk Legend´. They also happen to be an ace folk band themselves.
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
