Friday the 8th May this year is a public holiday to celebrate Victory In Europe Day. As Antifascists we believe it is important to also celebrate and commemorate those who it may be convenient for our government to forget. We're talking about those men and women who took our arms against the fascists and the Nazis under occupation. The Partisans.
The headline act will be 3/4 of the magnificent The Men They Couldn't Hang. The entire line up is first class.
As well as a fantastic line up throughout the day, we have commissioned a special pin badge for the day that will raise funds for organisations like the ANPI in Italy who look after Partisan survivors and keeps their memory alive. We shall also be contributing to Grenfell Tower families and a local charity that helps women in distress.
We hope this day will be a sell-out so we wanted to give you the first grab on tickets. There is also an excellent hostel upstairs at the venue if people want to stay over for the night..
