July Julay is the UK's premier Dominican Salsa and Bachata singer/guitarist and he's coming to The Continental with his band The Mambo Kings, complete with drums, piano, percussion, bass and trumpet.

Originally from the Dominican Republic, singer July has been resident in Manchester for over ten years. Upon moving to the UK, July rapidly established a reputation as one of the leading bachata singers in Europe, performing both with his own band and as guest singer with other artists at venues across the UK.

In 2009, he released his first album Sin Ningun Temor to much critical acclaim and has since released singles which have had radio play back home in Santo Domingo and resulted in him making several TV show appearances there during the last few years. The album also saw his nominated for the first GSD Media & Latin American Music Awards in the UK.

Our regional, seasonal kitchen serves up restaurant quality fresh food with daily specials and favourites, and we’re the indie culture venue of choice in Preston with cinema, theatre, music and more on weekly in our arts space.
