Description

Australian duo, The Weeping Willows, are a couple of old souls, steeped in Bluegrass tradition and draped in Gothic Americana imagery. They regale their audiences with stories of sunshine and romance, God and The Devil, murder and decay. Real music.

2015-2020 has seen The Weeping Willows performing at AmericanaFest, Folk Alliance International, Maverick Festival and Australian Americana Music Honours. They've supported Lukas Nelson, Hayes Carll, Iris DeMent, Eilen Jewell, Willie Watson and Hannah Aldridge and completed international tours in support of their sophomore album, Before Darkness Comes A-Callin', which received four-star reviews in Rolling Stone, The Australian and The Music.

Licensed Cafe.
By day our Cafe serves delicious home-cooked food, Fairly Traded coffee & tea and homemade cakes & pastries. All with a nod to local and ethical sourcing. We cater for Vegetarians, Vegans and dietary issues, just ask if you need anything not catered for on our menus. We also have a Delicatessen serving our own home-cooked food daily.

On Sunday to Thursday evenings we host the best acoustic music in the City, specialising in Folk, Roots and Americana.

On Friday and Saturday evenings the Cafe is available for private functions, weddings and parties, please call or email for more details.
